“Why Leather?” by Moore & Giles is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the world of leather. This presentation covers everything from the history and production of leather to its various applications in fashion, furniture, and other industries.

Participants will learn about the different types of leather, including full-grain, top-grain, and corrected-grain leather, as well as the unique characteristics of each type. They will also gain an understanding of the tanning process, including vegetable tanning and chrome tanning, and how it affects the final product.
