Moore & Giles Announces New President

Forest, VA – December 2021 – Moore & Giles announced a transition of leadership today, with the naming of Tray Petty as the company’s new president effective December 20, 2021. Petty joined Moore & Giles in 1994 and has served in a variety of roles–most recently as executive vice president. Outgoing president Sackett Wood will remain with Moore & Giles in his role as chief executive officer.

I’ve learned from some of the best–Sackett Wood and Don Giles–and I thank them both for everything they have done for me personally, and more importantly what they have done for this company,” said Petty. “I am excited about the opportunity to lead Moore & Giles as it continues its growth in all aspects of the business.”

In his new role, Petty will lead, develop, and foster a culture of excellence across the company. He will continue to work closely with Wood to push the company into its next era.
