Beginning in 2026, ITA will recognize the visionaries, innovators and champions whose work has left a lasting mark on the textile industry in North America. The Textile Hall of Fame celebrates those whose leadership and creativity have inspired generations.

The Textile Hall of Fame was established to honor individuals who have demonstrated enduring excellence, remarkable achievements and transformative contributions to the textile industry and their communities. Through this recognition, we celebrate their legacies and inspire future leaders across the field.

Nominate an Industry Legend

We invite you to nominate exceptional individuals for the next class of inductees.

Nominees must meet the following criteria:

  • Have conducted business in North America
  • Have served the textile industry for at least 10 years
  • Have created a legacy as a positive influence and industry advocate

Candidates should also exemplify:

  • Enduring Excellence – An inspirational role model with integrity in business and life
  • Superior Accomplishments – A leader whose work set new standards
  • Innovation & Creativity – A visionary who brought meaningful change to design, process, or business
  • Philanthropy – A generosity of their time, talent or resources.

Meet the Committee

The ITA Hall of Fame Committee ensures all applications are complete and facilitates the selection process with a confidential approval committee.

Final selection of inductees is made by the approval committee, comprised of a diverse group of industry professionals.

Recognition & Legacy

Inductees will be honored each year at a special ceremony during the spring Interwoven Textile Fair by ITA and permanently recognized on our Textile Hall of Fame Wall Legacy Wall. They will also be recognized in the Interwoven magazine and website.
