Dorell Fabrics Names Andrea Sapp as Global Director of Quality Assurance and Technical Service

Dorell has added textile expert Dr. Andrea Sapp to its quality assurance team in a newly-created role as Global Director of Quality Assurance and Technical Service.

Sapp is a 20+ year industry veteran and published author whose experience includes 14 years at Glen Raven Technical Fabrics where she worked on environmental compliance and certification. Sapp completed her doctorate at LSU and her postdoc at Duke University.

Her background in technical fabrics and process improvement continues Dorell’s commitment to quality and sustainability in home textiles.

“Andrea brings tremendous experience in technical fabric development and testing as well as experience in overall process improvement. Her depth of knowledge will support Dorell Fabric’s QC initiatives and enable us to expand into new areas while we continue our goal of providing best-in-class service and products,” said Brian Frankel, CEO of Dorell. “I am thrilled to have her join our management team.”

Sapp joins Pete Keel who will remain as Director, QA.
