Nice Link Home Furnishings refreshes fabric division and design team

CEO Echo Yu leads design team and hires U.S.-based
veteran textile designer

ORLANDO, Fla. (April 26, 2022) – With its eye on key market trends and customer needs, Nice Link Home Furnishings announced a refresh of its fabric division with the hiring of a veteran textile designer based in High Point, N.C.

Anastasia Frandsen has joined the Nice Link design team as Senior Designer, North America. Most recently with American Silk Mills where she served as senior designer for two tenures spanning 20 years, Frandsen has textile knowledge and experience that will provide the depth
and breadth from yarn development and trend forecasting to working closely with an international team as well as customers and partners.

Frandsen has also designed for Chatham Mills, Culp and Phillips Weaving. She was also an adjunct professor at the Thomas Jefferson University School of Design and Engineering, teaching students in concept creation, weaving structure and EAT software.

Based out of the Nice Link High Point showroom and offices, Frandsen will work closely with CEO Echo Yu who leads the international design team anchored in the company’s 1.5-millionsquare-foot campus in Haining, China.

“The market has evolved, and just as we move with fashion and color trends, it was time to take a fresh look and approach to our fabric business, the team, and how we better serve our customers,” said Yu. “We are excited to add Anastasia’s unique perspective and expertise to complement our experienced in-house design team.”

As one of the largest fabric resources in the industry, Nice Link supplies domestic and import manufacturers through its world-class fabric mill and cut-and-sew fabric and leather operation.

Yu founded Nice Link in 1999 after a successful run with Ashley Home Furnishings as its first country manager in China. While she holds a degree in aerospace engineering from a prestigious military university in China, Yu has a passion for fashion and keen eye for fabric to frame that is the foundation of Nice Link’s success ultimately proven at retail.
